Discord Community Terms

1. What This Covers

These terms govern your participation in the Authorythm Founding Author community on Discord ("the Community") and your interactions with the Authorythm Discord application that helps us run it ("the App"). They supplement — and do not replace — two other agreements that continue to apply:

• Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which govern your use of Discord itself; and
• the Authorythm Terms of Service, which govern your use of the Authorythm platform.

2. Membership

The Community is a private space for Authorythm Founding Authors and people we invite. Membership is tied to your standing with Authorythm: we may decline, limit, or remove access if your Authorythm account is suspended or closed, or if your conduct in the Community breaks these terms. Membership is personal — please don't share invites without asking us first.

3. Community Conduct

The Community exists so working authors can compare notes, report problems, and shape the product. Keep it workable for everyone:

• Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks.
• No spam, unsolicited advertising, or recruitment for other services.
• Don't share another member's content, manuscript excerpts, or personal information outside the Community without their permission.
• Product discussions may touch unreleased features. Treat anything marked as private beta material as confidential.
• Follow moderator guidance; moderators' calls are final.

4. The Discord App

The App operates only inside the Community server. We use it to run the Community: posting announcements, relaying support conversations to our team, and helping with moderation. The App does not read your direct messages with other users, and it has no access to servers other than the Community. What the App processes is described in the Discord Community Privacy Policy.

5. Your Content

What you post in the Community stays yours. By posting, you give Authorythm a limited license to read and use that content to operate the Community and improve the Authorythm service — for example, turning a bug report into a fix, or a feature request into a roadmap item. We will not quote you publicly (outside the Community) with attribution without asking first.

6. Enforcement

We may remove content, mute, or remove members who break these terms, Discord's terms, or the law — with or without prior warning, depending on severity. Removal from the Community does not by itself affect your Authorythm account.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the Community evolves. Material changes will be announced in the Community before they take effect. Continuing to participate after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

8. Reporting Issues & Contact

To report a problem with the App or conduct in the Community, flag it to a moderator in the Community or email us — we review every report and act on it.
